Friendly Reminder to Passenger Departing from China to New Zealand on the Latest Epidemic Controlling Policy and Travel Restrictions

Dear passengers:

To ensure your travel goes well, please check carefully before you travel and confirm in advance whether you meet all the entry and transit regulations of the origin, stopover, transit, or destination countries. Take full personal protection during the nucleic acid test and on the flight and cooperate with our staff with various inspections. You will be required to wear a mask on the entire flight to New Zealand

In accordance with the requirements of the New Zealand government policy update, please note for passengers departing from China: From 11:59pm (NZT) on 20 June 2022, transit passengers, whose first international flight to New Zealand, no longer need a pre-departure test, to be vaccinated. But the passengers must meet the requirement for holding a New Zealand Transit Visa or NZeTA(Passengers who meet the relevant conditions of the New Zealand government may not need to provide it). The requirements for transit in New Zealand must still be followed. It is still necessary to ensure that all entry requirements for any transit countries and final destination country are met.

It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that they can transit through New Zealand and enter any destination country on their journey. If passengers do not meet requirements, they may not be able to board. In accordance with the requirements of the New Zealand government, passengers departing from China to New Zealand should pay attention to the following travel instructions:

1.According to the government policy update, from Thursday 20 October 2022, travellers flying to New Zealand by air do not need to complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration. If you have already completed a Traveller Declaration for travel after Thursday 20 October 2022, you will not be required to present your Traveller Pass on arrival into New Zealand.

2. Travellers who depart for New Zealand after 11:59pm (New Zealand Standard Time) Monday 12 September, no longer need proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the country.

3. Passengers whose first international flight to New Zealand departs after 11:59pm (NZT) Monday 20 June 2022 do not need pre-departure tests.

4. New Zealand's borders are now fully open to visitors from anywhere in the world. Passengers who meet relevant conditions can entry into New Zealand.
