❶ Sales and Ticketing Period: Date of this announcement – 31 Dec 2019.

❷ First international segment (departing from New Zealand) period: Date of this announcement – 31 Dec 2019.

❸ The itinerary must originate from Auckland airport, transit at Shanghai, Kunming or Xi’an, and travel to Europe, North America, Japan, Korea or South East Asia. For example, you are eligible for our complimentary transit services if you book a return ticket originating from Auckland to travel to Tokyo with a transit at Shanghai, but you are NOT eligible for our complimentary transit services if you book a return ticket originating from Tokyo to travel to Auckland   with a transit at Shanghai;

❹ Tickets must be sold by CEA through its New Zealand  website https://oa.ceair.com/nz/en/, its Auckland  office, or its authorised agents in New Zealand  and be paid in New Zealand  dollars.

❺ An eligible ticket must be issued on a single confirmed and ticketed booking. The ticket must be validated to a China Eastern (stating with 781) ticket only. Reward tickets, redeemed tickets and tickets with booking classes A/O/G/X are excluded. Apply to China Eastern, Shanghai Airlines operated International flights only. Codeshare flights with other carriers are not applicable.

❻ All segment must be carried by CEA (MU) or Shanghai Airlines (FM).

❼ The complimentary transit services can only be used at the transit airport immediately following the first international segment. For example, if you book the following itinerary: Auckland  – Kunming# – Shanghai – Tokyo – Shanghai# – Kunming – Auckland, you are eligible for complimentary transit services at the airports followed by #.

❽ An infant ticket or an unaccompanied minor (under 12 years old) ticket is not eligible.

❾ A group ticket is not eligible.

❿ This offer cannot be combined with other offers.

⓫ The complimentary service cannot be transferred and can be used on the transfer day only. The complimentary service cannot redeem for cash.

*The Minimum Connection Time shall be calculated on the basis of the ticket itinerary issued by CEA only. If the connection time is changed by CEA due to the change of schedule of flights, the Minimum Connection Time shall be recalculated on the basis of the updated ticket itinerary. The aforementioned change of schedule of flights does not include temporary changes due to weather, mechanical issues or other temporary or urgent reasons.

+The availability of each option is limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis. CEA reserves its right to refuse its eligible passengers’ selection if any option is not available at the time of selection.

Please apply for the City Tour FORM  at least 7 business days prior to departure and email the application form toAuckland office. A value-added product application form must be filled in and state your choice clearly. Our staff will send e-voucher for service confirmation within 3 working days. Please present the e-voucher to our transit airport staff to redeem for the services.
