According to the announcement released by the Australian Embassy in China, from now on, from China to Australia, except for Australian citizens, permanent residents and immediate family members of Australian citizens and permanent residents including spouses, minor dependents and legal guardians, who need to provide identity certificates for entry to Australia, Australia will deny entry to all travelers arriving from any part of mainland China, regardless of nationality (the details are as below: www.homeaffairs.gov.au).
Regarding the policy, any passenger who has purchased China Eastern tickets of Australian routes and unable to enter Australia can be rescheduled once within the ticket validity period, free of exchange fees. The ticket is allowed to be rescheduled to the same route of China Eastern before June 30, 2020, or the ticket can be refunded through the original purchase channels, free of refund fees.
In order to avoid the restriction of your travel, it is recommended that you arrange your travel reasonably, acquire and comply with the relevant entry regulations of the destination country in advance, to prevent the loss caused by unsuccess of entry.
